In many schools, old desks and tables often become unused and are eventually discarded. Instead of letting these materials go to waste, an innovative approach was taken to transform them into useful storage cabinets. Old school desks and tables were carefully dismantled and the usable metal parts were collected. These materials were cleaned, cut to the required sizes, and welded together to create strong and durable cabinet structures. Doors and locking systems were installed to make the cabinets secure and practical for daily school use. Finally, the cabinets were painted in bright colors to give them a fresh and attractive appearance. In addition to the cabinets, waste metal pipes that were no longer usable were creatively reused to manufacture slipper stands for the school. This helped organize footwear neatly while making effective use of materials that would otherwise be discarded. These newly created cabinets and stands are now used in the school to safely store books, documents, and educational materials while also helping students keep their footwear organized. This project not only reduced the cost of purchasing new furniture but also promoted sustainable reuse of materials. This initiative demonstrates how creativity and practical engineering can transform unused resources into valuable assets for schools.
